Several galleries and a large number of artists, promising start-ups and growing companies have set up business on the site of the former Leipzig-Lindenau cotton mill. From here, the 2b AHEAD ThinkTank explores the future of the world on a daily basis.

  • Welcome to Leipzig! Spinnerei Leipzig is easy to reach from Halle/Leipzig Airport. Simply take the S-Bahn S5 in the direction of Zwickau and get off at the Leipzig, Markt stop. From there, you can reach Spinnerei Leipzig either by taxi in around 15 minutes or by public transport by taking tram line 14 in the direction of Plagwitz and getting off at the Plagwitz, S-Bahnhof stop. From there it is only a few minutes' walk to the Spinnerei.
  • When you arrive at Leipzig Central Station, you can either take a taxi, which will take you to Spinnerei Leipzig in about 15 minutes, or you can take tram line 14 in the direction of Plagwitz and get off at the Plagwitz, S-Bahnhof stop. From there it is only a few minutes' walk to the Spinnerei.
  • If you are travelling by car and taking the motorway, follow the signs for Leipzig-Zentrum. Take the exit towards Plagwitz and follow the signs towards Spinnereistraße. The Spinnerei Leipzig is located at Spinnereistraße 7, 04179 Leipzig.
